music theory, composition and history to
students of all levels and age groups for the
past 15 years. She has taught piano class,
individual piano lessons, aural skills, music
theory, musicianship and music history at
Eastman School of Music, Nazareth College
and State University of New York at Geneseo.

Dr. Golec is  supportive, energetic, and
experienced. She has extensive experience
teaching and interacting with children, high
school and college level/adult students.

She is patient, caring, understanding, positive,
very effective and has the ability of explaining
things very clearly and making helpful
metaphors that have the power to facilitate a far
better understanding than "dry facts" alone.

Dr. Golec teaches piano to students of all
levels- from the beginners to advanced
performing pianists. She is an actively
concertizing and recording pianist that has the
educational background to successfully
stimulate young performers, to support the
development of their interpretations and
deepen their knowledge on styles, techniques,
and performing in conjunction with music
history, harmony and theory.
